Are you a fiduciary?Yes. All of our clients start as fiduciary clients for financial planning or investment management (advisory accounts) and we have that standard of care throughout our relationship.
-
How many clients do you have?We are not striving to have the most clients. We want to do the best job we can for you, so for your benefit and the benefit of existing clients, we only take on a limited number of new clients each year. We currently care for about 135 individuals and families.
-
How often do you meet with clients? We would meet with you as often as you’d like to review your progress relative to your plan/objectives. Once we’ve had all the preliminary meetings to get your accounts set up, we would like to proactively schedule 3 meetings per year with you and then have additional meetings as needed. We are happy to tailor the meeting schedule to fit your needs and preference.
-
Why shouldn’t I just go directly to the money manager? In many cases, money managers work through an intermediary as they only manage money. They do not focus on getting and maintaining your financial affairs in order.
-
Why wouldn’t you put all your money into one strategy?Diversification is always important as ALL investment strategies will underperform at some time during market cycles. We combine more than one discipline in an effort to avoid having ALL of your accounts underperforming at one time, which could be devastating to your portfolio.
